The fine piece made its worldwide debut in the sky, 105m above the world’s largest watch and jewelry show Baselworld, at Bar Rouge at Basel Convention Centre. Its launch represents more than a milestone; it exemplifies the shared values of RUAG Aviation and Moritz Grossmann which are quality, beauty, craftsmanship and serene perfection.
Out of five distinctive visions, an elegant midnight blue design for the SkyLife watch won the poll that ran in the lead up to the worldwide debut in Basel. As an additional courtesy, those who participated in the poll were also eligible to win an ATUM Pure M timepiece manufactured and made available by Moritz Grossmann. The winner of this watch will be announced by RUAG Aviation at an exclusive event during the 2017 European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE2017) in Geneva.

The watchmaking excellence of Moritz Grossmann helped put the German town of Glashütte on the world map over 160 years ago. The timepieces he created by hand in his workshop were of unmatched precision and quality; he also established the German school of watchmaking in Glashütte to share his knowledge with future generations of watchmakers. His legacy lives on today in watches from the Moritz Grossmann brand, which are still handmade in Glashütte using the same techniques he pioneered. These timepieces continue to be sought-after among watch enthusiasts and collectors the world over.
